Welcome to North Croatia Team. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website and services. By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not use another person's account without their permission. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately.
Seller. Merchandise is sold by POTZO, obrt za informatičke usluge, vl. Tomislav Pocedulić, Kneginečka 3, Gornji Kućan, Croatia, OIB 33547847485, e-mail hello@northcroatia.team, phone +385 97 651 6900. Prices are shown in euros. The seller is not in the VAT system, so no VAT is charged.
You order merchandise through the cart on the website. An order becomes binding once you have paid for it. Some items are available in limited quantity: they can be ordered until the stock is gone or the order window closes. The items are held for you until we receive your payment.
Placing an order is free, and cancelling it before you pay costs nothing: contact us and we cancel it. We may also cancel an order that stays unpaid and release the items. Once you have paid, the Returns & Withdrawal rules below apply.
You pay by bank transfer or by online payment. For a bank transfer the payment details are shown right after you place the order and sent by e-mail. For an online payment you are sent to the secure payment page of our payment provider Stripe; we never see or store your card details. We issue an invoice for every paid order.
You choose one of these delivery options at checkout:
The delivery cost is added once per order, however many items it contains, and is shown before you place the order. We pass your name, mobile number, e-mail address and the delivery address or locker to the post office or BoxNow for this purpose only. Items in stock are sent after your payment is recorded. Made-to-order items are produced after the order window closes, so delivery takes place after that; we tell you the expected time before you pay.
Parcels are sent from Varaždin, Croatia. Counted from the day we send the parcel, delivery takes 3 - 7 working days by post office and 2 - 4 working days with BoxNow (parcel lockers are in Croatia); items in stock are sent 1 - 3 working days after your payment is recorded. Within the EU there are no customs fees. For a delivery outside the EU the destination country may charge customs duty, import VAT and handling fees; they are not included in our prices and are paid by the buyer.
Made-to-order items. Jerseys and other apparel are produced to order — only after the order window closes, in the sizes and quantities riders ordered. Under EU consumer law (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, as implemented in the Croatian Consumer Protection Act), goods made to the consumer's specifications are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal. Once you have paid for a made-to-order item, it cannot be returned simply because you changed your mind or picked the wrong size, so please check the size guide before ordering.
Stock items. Items that are not made to order (for example stickers or accessories already in stock) may be returned within 14 days of receiving them, without giving a reason. Contact us within that period; the item must be unused and returned at your cost. We refund the full amount you paid, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving the item back, using the same payment method.
Faulty or incorrect items. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us within a reasonable time after receiving it and we will replace it or refund you in full. This does not affect your statutory rights regarding non-conforming goods.
Legal guarantee (2 years). Under Croatian consumer law we are responsible for any lack of conformity of the goods that exists when they are delivered and shows within 2 years of delivery. You may ask us to repair or replace the item; if that is not possible, you are entitled to a price reduction or to end the contract. Contact us with your order number and, if you can, photos. Any commercial guarantee we give in addition does not limit these rights.
To request a return or refund, e-mail hello@northcroatia.team with your name, the item, and your order number. To withdraw from an order you can use our model withdrawal form, or send us any clear statement within 14 days.
If you are not satisfied with an item or our service, send your complaint to hello@northcroatia.team or by post to the seller's address above. We confirm receipt and answer within 15 days. If we cannot settle it, you may turn to the competent consumer protection authority or an out-of-court dispute resolution body in Croatia.
Our website integrates with the Strava API to allow users to connect their Strava account and display personal performance data, statistics, and ride overlays. Connecting your Strava account is entirely optional.
By connecting Strava, you authorise North Croatia Team to access and store your recent rides and profile information for the purpose of displaying your personal cycling data on the site and generating visual content overlays (e.g., for social media posts). This data is used solely for these purposes and is not shared with third parties or used for advertising.
You can disconnect your Strava account at any time from your account page, or by revoking access directly in your Strava settings. Disconnecting will remove your stored Strava data from our systems. If new features are introduced that use your Strava data in a different way, you will be notified and additional consent may be required.
We are committed to protecting your personal data. All data we collect — whether through your account, Strava integration, or other means — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect, why, and your rights under GDPR.
Your data is never sold to third parties. It may be shared with trusted service providers who help us operate the website, under confidentiality obligations.
If you accept analytics, we count visits with a self-hosted statistics tool that sets no cookies. Analytics only run after you give explicit consent via our cookie consent tool. You can review and update your cookie preferences at any time via the Cookie Preferences link in the footer. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
By connecting your Strava account or participating in events and challenges we host, you may be included in visual content such as ride highlights or performance summaries shared on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or Strava. You consent to North Croatia Team using your performance data and name in such content.
If you wish to opt out of being included in social media content, please contact us and we will adjust your preferences accordingly.
Photographers take photos at our events and league rounds. Photos in which you can be recognised may be published in the gallery on this website and on our social media. We do this to document and promote our events, which is our legitimate interest; if a photo is mainly of you, please tell us if you would rather it was not published. Each photo is credited to its photographer, who keeps the copyright.
You can ask us to remove a photo of you at any time: e-mail us with a link to the photo and we take it down promptly. Please do not copy or republish gallery photos without the photographer's permission.
By joining a race or the league you confirm that you are fit to take part and that you take part at your own risk. You follow the road traffic rules, the race rules and the instructions of the organisers and marshals, you ride equipment that is in good working order and you wear a helmet. We recommend that you have your own accident and liability insurance.
We may change, postpone or cancel a round because of weather, safety or other circumstances beyond our control. Your name, nationality, category, race times and results, and your profile photo are shown in the results and leaderboards of the site (see the Privacy Policy). Entry fees are paid as shown on the league page.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law, and your rights as a consumer are not affected.
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of North Croatia Team and is protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute any content without our prior written consent.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services not owned or controlled by North Croatia Team. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites and encourage you to review their policies independently.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, North Croatia Team, its organisers, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or its services, including but not limited to loss of data or service interruptions.
These terms and your orders are governed by Croatian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes are decided by the competent court in Croatia; as a consumer you may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
